I am a native Atlantan, graduated from Piedmont School of Radiologic Technology in 1975. I was lucky enough to meet Pat Rape in the late 70’s who took me to my first Atlanta Society and Georgia Society meeting. Since that time I have been “involved”.
I have worked at Piedmont Hospital since 1976 in multiple capacities; I am currently the Enterprise PACS Administrator of Piedmont Healthcare and work in Information Systems.
I served as past President of the GSRT in 2003. I have a strong vision for the society this year and have a great team to make it happen. The GSRT, like all of us, is struggling with financial issues. The way to lessen this burden is by having more members. People do not come to the GSRT just for credits – they come to see old friends and make new ones. The GSRT is about relationships. My goal this year is to improve the communication between busy friends.
My hobbies are gardening, trying to lose weight, and reading my Kindle (Martha Dollar provided me the knowledge of a Kindle at Lake Blackshear - I never knew how addicting reading was when it is at your fingertips). Thank you Martha!
